We got a surprise in the mail yesterday...crafts! We love crafts. Ha,ha,ha, Doug thinks I love them as much, if not more than Mary. I wonder if it was the fact that I talked her out of story time (heck, we do read every night), so we could keep making valentines. Maybe it's because I made 6 to her 2 1/2. Who knows. I love that she's finally at an age where she can sit still and be creative with me. And yes, I was having a blast too.Unfortunately, I think my first one is a bit inappropriate to give to a 3 yr old. (But really, how else do you use a "monkey love" sticker?)
Hmm, my second attempt might be considered the same.
OK, third times the charm. Can you tell, I had fun?
Mary's beautifully decorated Valentine. I wonder who will be the lucky recipient?
Love is in the air. All the lovey dovey hearts scattered about the house reminded Doug to tell me at dinner, "Don't forget to pick up some chocolate for Valentine's Day. You know, the one in the heart shaped box." I asked him, "I have to get my own chocolate this year?" His reply, a resounding, "Yes." Ahh, I love you too, honey.
