Golden Delicious?
Did you know I'm considered to have "olive" skin tone? What exactly does that mean? Most olives I've seen are black or green or the occasional reddish burgundy. I always thought my skin tone is slightly yellowish. I've never seen a yellow olive...and we lived in Italy where the olive was practically revered. Do I look green to everyone else? On all the cop shows, witnesses often describe the suspect as "light, medium or dark complected; Caucasian...or African American...or Asian...; Italian, German, Russian, Japanese, etc." There are so many different ways to describe someone. So why choose an olive? Why not an apple? I think if I had a choice, I'd prefer to be "light tan with a hint of golden delicious." Please remember that if you ever have to describe me to the police.
