Where'd it go?

You know, I've seen a random child's shoe in a parking lot, along the side of the road, in a store and wondered how on Earth the kid's parent didn't see it. How can a kid lose a shoe? Well, tonight it happened to me...or rather, Mary. Doug's car was in the shop this week and we went to get it after dinner (YEA!). It was wonderfully cool outside, so I rolled down the windows for the fresh air. We sat in the parking lot for a few minutes waiting to make sure Doug got his car ok, then we headed for the post office to check for mail. I was pulling Mary out of her car seat when I realized she didn't have any shoes on. I could only find one. Where's the other one? I looked and looked. It wasn't until I got home that I thought that maybe she threw it out the window at the car repair shop. Would she? No, not Mary. Hmmmm, maybe. At least I hope it's there and not somewhere along the road or I'll have absolutely no chance of finding it. Guess I know what we're doing tomorrow morning. I'll let you know.
