What a busy Sunday! After church, we met Kaye and Melissa for lunch and then stretched our legs by the ocean. There's a cute park nearby called Araha Beach and it features a pirate ship that's lots of fun for the kiddos. It's mainly for older children, but Mary got to slide for the first time. She loved it. Wasn't scared at all. Thank you Mindy, for the beautiful dress. It's so adorable.
This evening we went over to our neighbor's house for dinner. We brought the salad and dessert. I tried a new recipe for an angel food cake layered with a pineapple pudding. Mary enjoyed licking the spatula. Isn't that one of the best memories as a kid? I know I used to hang around when Mom was baking, just so I could get a spatula...or better yet, a spatula and a bowl!
