1) A 4 day weekend is not really a weekend when you have a kid that's throwing up and having diarrhea. It's exhausting, not relaxing. Not to mention hard on the washing machine.
2) Kids are amazing. One minute throwing up and then next minute smiling and laughing. Oops, time to throw up again!

3) When one kid gets sick, the other one will too. It's inevitable.
4) Keeping close to the house, so we can have an emergency bathroom run, but still going outside is a lifesaver.

5) This is a much better way to "have the runs."

6) Blowing bubbles is preferable to blowing chunks. (Sorry for the crudeness)
7) Laughter is healing...at least until it's time for another bathroom run. (A strong wind created this hilarious hairdo. And no, he's not about to throw up, but he looks it).
7) You know he's not feeling well, when my wiggly ball of motion snuggles in my arms and falls asleep. Breaks my heart.

It's always a downer when the kids are sick. Your kids are lucky that Mom is a nurse and knows just what to do. Hope it stops with the kids and everyone is well soon.
