Santa - take 2

Well, we went to the toy store on Camp Foster (the marine base) today. I heard they have a more "authentic" Santa and I was hoping for a better photo. This Santa certainly was better. He was so friendly with the kids. He actually talked to them before posing for pictures. Mary was immediately frightened and clingy. We sat down close by and I just held her in my lap so she could see that he wasn't scary and was treating the other kids nicely. It didn't work. I finally decided it was "now or never". Here are the results. We went for ice cream afterward and that seemed to cheer her up. Mmmm mint chocolate chip.
