Happy Mother's Day
4 years ago, feeling as big as a house, I knew my life would be forever changed once I became a mom. Heck, that's what most people tell you when you mention that you like babies, want to have a baby, are trying to have a baby, or are pregnant. Life is never the same. It's true. I'll be a mother for the rest of my life and I wouldn't change it for the world. I'm a teacher, a chauffeur, a nurse, a cook, a disciplinarian, a playmate. I'm a terrible dancer, a funny singer, a horrible joke teller, a bubble blower. I'm a snuggler, a tickler, a shoulder to cry on (and lately, a snot wiper). Motherhood is challenging, exhausting, rewarding, and the most fun ever. Happy Mother's Day to all the hard working mothers out there. Thank you Doug, Mary and Adam for making me feel so special today and always.
