Popping the Bubble

Well, Doug went out and bought the Mac laptop computer today and we have officially been transported to the 21st century.  It's a little scary, a little confusing and really, really fun.  I've been playing with it all night trying to figure things out.  Now I know why Mom Putthoff took a class on Macs.  It would be nice if they gave you an instruction manual to accompany the computer.  I'm thrilled with how fast it is compared to the old desktop.  I'm excited that I can sit on the couch or at the dining room table...or frankly, anywhere I want and not be shackled to the desk in the bedroom.   I have a feeling that once I get the hang of things, I'll really love it.  Mary is super impressed too.  We had fun taking pictures with the photo booth application.
