Merry Christmas!!!!

Ho, Ho, Ho! Santa visited our house this year and a very excited 2 yr old couldn't open her presents fast enough...and those for her baby brother. I thought it was funny how she would open a present and then instead of moving on, would want to open ALL the packaging so that she could immediately try it out. That little girl was certainly spoiled this year. A friend surprised us with a last minute gift of a toy kitchen since their daughter was getting an upgrade. Mary has been having a great time making and serving us coffee and snacks.

My Mom and Dad were able to fly all the way from North Carolina to help us welcome Adam to the family and to celebrate Christmas. It was been wonderful having extra help with Adam and Mary has been getting some much needed extra attention. We had a couple pretty days before the rain came, so Dad, Mary and I went to the beach to play in the sand. The water wasn't too cool and Mary had a great time getting her feet wet.
Christmas Eve was a beautiful day too. We went to the 5pm mass at church. Mary had a good time looking at the nativity set. She kept saying, "Happy birthday, Jesus." Too cute.

PRESENTS!!!! Here's a look at some photos from Christmas morning.
Rock, Chalk, Jayhawk Go KU! Thanks Grandma, now we're ready for March Madness.

And we finished the day by decorating cookies. Thankfully, for every one's sake, Mary only touched 2 and I did the rest.

Merry Christmas everyone! We love and miss you!

Thanks for including us in your day through the blog and phone call. Looks like Mary will be able to cook a meal for us the next time we see you.

We are so happy your Mom and Dad are there to help you celebrate both the birth of Adam and the birth of Christ. Mary looks so grown up in the photos and Lew & Pat like they are having a great time. Enjoy the rest of their visit. Love and miss you all.
